The postdoctoral positions are part of the project Geometry and Physics funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation. Applicants are expected to conduct research in geometry or mathematical physics.
The following subjects are of particular interest: symplectic and contact geometry, knot theory, localization techniques in quantum field theory, topological strings, mirror symmetry and related subjects.
Suitable background for the applicant is a PhD degree in mathematics or theoretical physics.
Prerequisites: The holder of a position as postdoctoral researcher must have a PhD degree or equivalent. The PhD degree must have been obtained at the start of the employment and no more than three years prior to the application deadline; however, periods of e.g. sick leave or parental leave are deducted from this three-year period.
Employment Period: The period of employment is 2 years.
